Weekly Challenge #21: Animal Magnetism Challenge!

This is my entry for the weekly challenge- take a look at the closeups and check back in a week or so I am going to have the wonderful paper that is fuzzy available- it cuts great on the Cricut and no mess in trying to flock. I will be posting additional photos that I have made using this paper.

I loved taking photos of my dog enjoying the snow in the backyard. I remember the first time she saw snow she was afraid to go out the door. As you can see she has the fur coat for the weather though.

Weekly Challenge #20: Love Notes Challenge!

Posted by Picasa

Valentine’s Day is just a few days away and we thought it would be fun to challenge you to put your scrappy skills to use by creating an extra special note for someone you adore. It can be a friend, your mom, a lover, your child, a neighbor . . . anyone! Your project must include a heart and embossing (we want to see you incorporate those Cuttlebug embossing folders). Project must also contain at least 2 Cricut cuts to qualify.

My Daughter asked me to make her a Valentine's Day card for her boyfriend- she wanted it to have giraffes on it- this is what I came up with- I saw this card shape on another blog- when I find it i will give credit- the card base is simple- just an 8x11 cut from 3 inches on one side up to a little over five on the other- then score- I scored at 3in, and 7 inches. I covered with K and Company paper, cuts using the Create a Critter and Serenade carts and embossed the tree- I added the heart to the tree with their initials- I actually cut the tree twice, once for the front and once for the back because of the way it folds.
