1st Banner for Employee Blood Drive Celebration

I made this banner for our end of year celebration of the Employee Blood Drive Teams. The theme was Great American Picnic- and I made aunt and lady bugs out of Styrofoam. This was my first try but am going to try something a little fancier next time.

Beware card

Wow this is my weekly entry for the circle blog. Was not sure I really liked it but use the vellum for the moon behind the cat and rub-ons I got at Ms. Use red pearls for the eyes- and of course stickles. The cut is from Pumpkin carving.

My strange entry for the monthly chanllenge

Ok- I know this is strange- but one thing I really like about Creating is using it at my work. I work for the American Red Cross with the section that collects blood- last year I carved the foam pumpkins for the donor sites- this year when I saw the vampire font on the Happy Hauntings Cart- I just knew I had to do something with it. The back of the sings are from Ms I think they say cemetery underneath. I just used a silver pearlized paper ran it thorough the Cuttlebug with TH brick folder and inked so it looked like stone.

Autumn Splendor Weekly Challenge #3

Well here is my entry for the weekly circle challenge- I really struggled with the colors and as you can see I ended up with some yellow in the mix- this is Basic Grey paper and some K&Company- the bird is from Wall Decor and the butterflies are MS punch.

2 Dinos for 2 sweet boys

I made this card for two sweet boys that have had a rough time lately- but their Grandmother has them now and things are much better- they love to get mail and I thought every so often I would send them these two doing funny things- Next time I think I will add Halloween costumes and then maybe Santa Hats- I would like it to be an on going "story" of the two brother dinos. Hope they like them.

Think Pink

This is my entry for the Think Pink Contest
on the Cricut Circle Blog- we had to pick 3 of the following to use in the project; pink, glitter, gems, flourish, scallops or ruffles.

The flamingo really lent itself to a tall card-so this is a 4x9 inch.

The flamingo is from the Serenade cartridge the label is from the Lacey Labels lite cartridge.

I used Pink of course- but the flamingo is completely glittered-lots of bling (Prima) was added to the paper (K&Company)
and I added a piece of ribbon around the flamingo's neck as the symbol of Breast Cancer awareness.

But first take a look I have 4 posts for the hop- three cards and the last is blog candy- just become a follower and post a comment on the blog candy post and you will be eligible to win a great prize.

I couldn't decide what to do- I wanted to use all three of the Halloween cartridges. The photos below are of my "invention"- an easel- step card- it is a 6x6 square and the bottom of the card is scored 4x every half inch. This is where you can add the standing parts- it makes it a little bulky but who would use a regular envelope anyway. The house is cut from Oct 31 the creatures are all Sandylion stickers

Beware of friendly green monsters

Halloween Hop project 2

This is a self standing pop up card- the instructions are at Splitcoast Stampers- I just thought the tomb was perfect for this pop up. Tomb and hand cut from Oct 31 and the embossing is with Tim Holtz brick folder. I think it looks a lot like stone.

Frightfully Spooky

My calling card

Here is my calling card for the Cricut Circle- I thought it appropriate to use the French Manor cart- and I wanted to reflect my new blog name "Time2Create" so the clock worked great. I have made a few as easel cards but most will just be cards with my info on the back.

CCC #44

Made this card for the cricut cardz challenge #44. The colors are a little odd- but it is American Crafts Halloween paper. They used blue instead of green- still like the way it turned out. Tim Holtz on the edge die for the end. The spider legs are from a MS spider punch and the spiders are just hand cut circles. The title is from Celebrate with Flourish cart.
