Monthly Circle Challenge May 2011

Tic Tac Toe . . . Three X’s in a Row! That’s the goal in this challenge. Look at the tic tac toe board below and choose three squares in a row. Use the challenge prompts from all three squares to create your project! Sorry I can't seem to get the tic tac toe grid posted.

I picked the bird image, ruffle with ribbon or paper and the rick rack for my three requirements to make this "Welcome Little One" easel card. The birds are from on of the Creative Memories carts, branch is from Serenade and the nest from 3 Birds on Parade. I cut the rick rack for the nest. I used the specialty paper that I have for the birds that is why they are fuzzy. Papers are from TPC as is the matching ribbon. Card stack is Bazzill.

Weekly Circle Challenge 32

The Challenge: Use the provided sketch to create a project. Feel free to turn it on it’s side, simplify or combine a few of the elements together for a card or home decor project, etc. You are welcome to create anything as long as we can see that you used the sketch as your inspiration. Have fun! 

I used the Graphically Speaking and Floral Embellished carts. I was glad to get this page done and to step out of my box by using the provided sketch. Papers are Basic Grey Lemonade and Bazzil cardstock. Of course there is stickles also. It has bee a little while since i have done one of the weekly challenges- glad I did this one.

 each of the patterned papers in a square then then in quarters. The center medallion is 2 inches by 12 inches edge punch and then fan folded-I had so much fun making these I sat one evening and made 10 while I watched a movie with my husband. The flowers on top were cut from the Mother Day Bouquet cartridge. Another suggestion is using fun foam under your Spellbinders dies- it embosses the paper and then gives you matching cut that you can mount on like chipboard.
