If you are here for the Shall WE Dance Blog hop you are in the right place. You should have started at http://greengirlscraps.blogspot.com/
and arrived here from
If you have gotten here another way though I have listed everyone below. Please post a comment I am giving away blog candy- but it is a surprise. I will select the winner on Monday evening so please leave a way for me to contact you. I would love for you to become a follower but it is not required. Now on to the show.
I used the medallion function and made it 11.5 inches. I also used the SWD cartridge for the title. I have been struggling with this layout for awhile because the costume is not the traditional ballet pink and although I was not over joyed with the cartridge I knew I had a few photos I could use it for- in the end I am pretty happy and the hop got me moving to use the cartridge. Hope the hop inspires others to try it out. By the way the photos are from scanned slides and are 42 years old- and yes that is me. I want to encourage everyone to scrapbook about their own childhood so you can share it with your children and grandchildren ( I don't have any of those yet). I made a quick tulle tutu and added Prima flowers, punched butterflies, Prima bling and of course Stickles.
The paper is from October Afternoon. I hope you enjoyed.

ReplyDeleteGreat layout...and thanks so much for encouraging people to make heritage albums for future generations. I am one volume in of a three album series of my hub's family...going back to his grandparents and leading up to our most recent great-niece! Then, I'll be doing my own family. It's so important to leave a history for future generations! ksjennings at gmail dot com and http://karelj.blogspot.com
