Weekly challenge #23 Guy Stuff Challenge!

The Challenge: Incorporate at least three of the following types of materials on your project. (Hardware items, stars, raw cardboard or chipboard, twine, string, paint, buttons, staples, or distressed edges)      This is the card I made for my husband's birthday- he loves the Beatles and when I saw the buttons (not traditional buttons I know) at Micheal's I knew I had to do something with them.  The submarine is from Life's a Beach, the stars are from George and basics. I welded the sub together to do the base of the card then cut is several times in different colors to layer - I used fun foam in between layers and cut a trench so the actual pin part would have a place to rest and not make the card bumpy. The hardware is the screw top on the propeller. I think it came out pretty good and my husband really liked it.

Happy BD from the Yellow Submarine
